Superstar Scotty Goldman (Scott Colton) as of (Today) February 20, 2009.

Scotty Goldman, was part of the Smackdown brand, and was hosting a web series on WWE. com. “Whats Crackin with Scotty Goldman”. He made his final WWE appearance on tonight’s Smackdown in a match with Umaga.

Scott was well known by many wrestling fans before signing with WWE during his time with Ring of Honor as Colt Cabana and later with the MTV “Wrestling Society X” promotion as Matt Classic.

World Wrestling Entertainment has come to terms on the release of SmackDown Superstar Scotty Goldman (Scott Colton) as of February 20, 2009. WWE wishes Scott the best in all future endeavors.

Commenting on his release, Colt released this;

SEEYA!!!!!

Yes. I was released by WWE. There’s only two things that are on my mind right now.

1) Move back to Chicago.

2) Go to England and Professionally Wrestle Johnny Saint.

There’ll be a lot more to come, but for now, sit tight.

Goodbye Scotty Goldman. Hello (again) Colt Cabana!

From our perspective we are pretty neutral regarding the release. Sure, going to WWE was fantastic but Colt was never used the way he should have been, and WWE have truly lost an amazing talent that given the right push, could have set a different tone for SmackDown!

Scotty Goldman is the first to go, followed by Kizarny. Jesse is next, followed by Shelton Benjamin, then MVP. We go to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Chavo Guererro and Kung-Fu Naki are sent out by Khali. Khali then throws out THE Brian Kendrick. Khali sends out both Curt Hawkins and Zack Ryder, the Kozlov comes from behind and throws out Khali. Kozlov then sends out Carlito and Primo. R-Truth and Kozlov are the final two. R-Truth is thrown out. Not a bad match, but i wanted Khali to win.
Winner: Vladimir Kozlov

“What’s Crackin’ with Scotty Goldman” premieres today as WWE.com’s newest “Kosher” series, featuring the titular Goldman kibitzing about recent happenings in WWE. Some of this Superstar’s matzo ball-flavored musings are sly, some are caustic and some are downright schmeer campaigns irreverent enough to make a rabbi blush. Oy!
